It’s exam time, so I AM STUDYING (study) a lot. There’s also the question of next year. I HAVE BEEN THINKING (think) about it for ages. Mum and Dad 10 WANT (want) me to go to university, but I’m just not sure what to do.

The old woman who lived in a bottle

Once upon a time there was an old woman who lived in a bottle with her cat. Neither the lady nor her cat was happy so, one day, a fairy appeared and asked the lady which was the reason of her sadness. The woman complained about the place where she lived and she expressed the desire to live in a house. The fairy told her to stand up, close her eyes,turn around three times and open her eyes. After doing this the woman found herself in a house. Soon she was depressed and the fairy showed up again. The woman wanted to live in a castle now so the fairy got her wish and made it true. After some time the old woman was discontent and she wanted to live in a palace now. The fairy appeared again but, unfortunately, she didn't make her wish true but, even more, she moved the woman back into the bottle. Be happy with whatever you have and do not forget that being rich doesn't bring you happiness.

Once upon a time there was a poor man  who earned his living by making shoes.Next door  a rich man lived and he had the routine to count his money all night long. He wanted to sleep during the day, but he couldn't because his neighbour sang loudly. To solve the problem, the rich man offered money to the shoemaker to stop singing.     Having the money, he couldnt't decide where to hide his money: under the bed, on the cupboard, in the fridge or behind the chair. In the end he made up his mind and gave the money back, returning to his old habits being cheerful again. A lot of money brings a lot of worries.
